Choosing the right size canopy bed curtain comes down to two numbers: your mattress size and the room around your bed frame. Since 1995 we have made our canopy bed curtains in five sizes, from twin to super king, each cut generously so the drapes fall past the mattress and frame to the floor. The size chart below lists the exact dimensions of every canopy bed curtain we make, in inches and centimeters, followed by standard US and UK bed sizes so you can match your bed to the right canopy.

- Four poster bed frames need to be measured to ensure you buy the correct bed canopy. Email dimensions and an image and we can help with selection.
- When ordering allow for the bed frame as well as the mattress. Our sizes are designed to fit over most beds in most situations in most parts of the world.
- Bigger is better! Remember that it's better to order your bed canopy a little larger than smaller as excess fabric can be gathered into the corners.

What size canopy bed curtain fits a queen bed?
Our queen canopy bed curtain measures 86 inches long, 67 inches wide and 86 inches high (220cm x 170cm x 220cm). It is cut to fit generously over a standard US queen mattress of 60 x 80 inches, with room for the bed frame, and the drapes fall to the floor on all sides.
What are the dimensions of king and California king canopy bed curtains?
Our king canopy bed curtain measures 91 inches long, 79 inches wide and 86 inches high (230cm x 200cm x 220cm). One size fits both a standard US king mattress (76 x 80 inches) and a California king mattress (72 x 84 inches) — the California king is slightly longer and narrower, and the generous cut covers both.
What are the dimensions of a super king canopy bed curtain?
Our super king canopy bed curtain measures 98.5 inches long, 91 inches wide and 86 inches high (250cm x 230cm x 220cm). It is the largest canopy bed curtain we make and suits super king and other oversized beds.
Can a queen canopy bed curtain fit a full or twin XL bed?
Yes. A larger canopy bed curtain always fits a smaller bed — the excess fabric is simply gathered into the corners. A twin XL mattress is 80 inches long, which is longer than a standard twin, so for a twin XL we recommend our double/full (83 inches long) or queen (86 inches long) canopy bed curtain rather than the single/twin size.
How much bigger than the bed should a canopy bed curtain be?
A canopy bed curtain should be larger than the mattress in every direction, with allowance for the bed frame. Our queen canopy, for example, is 67 inches wide over a 60 inch wide queen mattress. When in doubt, size up — a generously sized canopy bed curtain hangs and drapes better than one cut too close.
