How can box canopy bed curtains be hung?
Box canopy bed curtains can be hung four ways: tied or pinned to the top frame of a four poster bed; from four to six ceiling hooks; suspended from a bamboo or timber frame; or on a hidden curtain-rod frame that slides through the sleeve sewn into the canopy ceiling. What comes with box canopy bed curtains?
Box canopy bed curtains come with ceiling ties, a sleeve sewn into the canopy ceiling, an internal and an external tie at each corner so the drapes can be tied open during the day, and display instructions inside the packaging. The frame and ceiling hooks are not included.
Will box canopy bed curtains fit my four poster bed?
Measure the outside of your bed’s top frame, length and width, and choose a canopy whose ceiling is at least that size. If there is no exact match, choose the next size up and gather the extra fabric into the corners. Do box canopy bed curtains need a frame?
No. Box canopy bed curtains can hang without a frame, suspended by cords from ceiling hooks. A bamboo, timber or curtain-rod frame adds to the look of the display.

No. We do not supply frames or ceiling hooks, because ceilings and rooms vary. US customers can buy bamboo poles from Beautiful Bamboo; customers in other countries will need to source poles locally.
What size poles do I need for a bamboo or timber canopy frame?
Use four poles, 1 to 2 inches (3 to 5 cm) in diameter, plus four ceiling hooks. Pole lengths by canopy size are: Twin/Single 2 × 93″ and 2 × 53″; Full/Double 2 × 93″ and 2 × 69″; Queen 2 × 96″ and 2 × 77″; King/Cal King 2 × 101″ and 2 × 89″; Super King 2 × 108.5″ and 2 × 101″. These lengths let the poles overlap and cross at the corners.
How heavy is a bamboo canopy frame?
A set of four cured bamboo poles weighs about 8.8 lb (4 kg). Green bamboo is heavier, about 17.6 lb (8 kg).
What is a hidden curtain-rod frame for canopy bed curtains?
It is a frame hidden inside the canopy ceiling. Four lengths of 3/4 inch powder-coated conduit, sold as curtain rod, slide through the ceiling sleeve and join with four right-angled adjustable corner fittings from a curtain hardware outlet. The four rods weigh about 4 lb (2 kg). Rod lengths by canopy size are: Twin/Single 2 × 81″ and 2 × 41″; Full/Double 2 × 81″ and 2 × 57″; Queen 2 × 84″ and 2 × 65″; King/Cal King 2 × 89″ and 2 × 77″; Super King 2 × 96.5″ and 2 × 89″.

Our box canopy bed curtains come with ceiling ties, a sewn ceiling sleeve, internal and external corner ties, and display instructions. The frame and ceiling hooks are not included. Choose one of these four ways to hang your canopy:

What ceiling hooks should I use to hang canopy bed curtains?
On a wood ceiling or into a ceiling joist, use screw-in cup or swag hooks. On drywall, use toggle-bolt hooks. If you are unsure, check with a qualified installer.

Cotton canopy bed curtains
What are cotton canopy bed curtains made of?
Our cotton canopy bed curtains are made of pre-washed 100% cotton netting with a run-proof weave. The weave gives the fabric a slightly chequered look.
Is the chequered pattern on cotton canopy bed curtains a fault?
No. The slight chequered pattern comes from the run-proof weave and is a feature of the fabric. Cotton canopies are not available without it.
What colors do cotton canopy bed curtains come in?
Cotton canopy bed curtains come in natural white only. Cotton takes dye easily, and a washing-machine dye is the simplest way to color it.
How do I wash cotton canopy bed curtains?
Machine wash on a delicate cycle in cold water with a mild detergent, hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent, or dry clean. Do not tumble dry or spin dry. The netting may shrink slightly in height after washing; gently pull the drapes back to length while damp.

Silk canopy bed curtains
How do I care for silk canopy bed curtains?
Dry clean silk canopy bed curtains using the P 30 dry-cleaning process. Silk is a strong fibre but loses strength temporarily when wet. Keep silk out of direct sunlight, which can darken it; do not bleach; and iron cool on the silk setting. With proper care, silk keeps its looks for years.

No. Due to security reasons we are unable to take orders over the phone. If you have any questions, leave your phone number on our Contact Us page and we will reply as soon as we can.
Where do CanopyBedCurtain.com orders ship from?
Orders ship from our warehouses in Indian Trail, North Carolina, USA, and Sydney, Australia, from whichever is nearer to you and has the item in stock. We dispatch within 1 to 2 business days.
Can I return my canopy bed curtain?
Yes. Contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will authorise the return before you send it. New, unopened items in their original packaging are refunded in full, excluding shipping and a US$6.50 warehouse handling fee. If we sent the wrong item or it is faulty, we pay the return shipping and there is no handling fee.

Our head office is in Australia, and banks may charge a small fee for an international transaction. To avoid an international transaction fee, we suggest the PayPal payment option.

Delivery and tracking with two warehouses on opposite sides of the planet
We send your order as quickly and cost effectively as possible. International customers will receive orders from the nearest warehouse, dependent upon item availability. We select the most cost effective and guaranteed service and dispatch within 1 to 2 business days of receiving orders.

Please note that there are restrictions on some international destinations where guaranteed delivery cannot be accessed. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Any time frames stated on the website for delivery of any goods, services or information are estimates only, and we do not guarantee or promise delivery within the stated time frames.
We try our best to get all products to you as fast as possible and use third-party shippers for delivery. If delivery details are incorrect, if the delivery email address is incorrect or blocked by spam filters, if a parcel cannot be delivered for reasons beyond standard delivery expectations, or if delivery details are changed once an order has been processed and is with a third-party carrier, we are not responsible for non-delivery, and any return delivery charges will be deducted from any refund.
Many postal and delivery services hold uncollected items for 7 days before returning them to the sender. We are not responsible for unclaimed items and are not liable for their return postage costs. Return costs are at the buyer's expense.
Customs duty and sales tax
Any customs charges or sales taxes upon entry to your country are excluded from our prices. Should you be charged customs duty or sales tax, they are at your expense.
Customs policies vary widely from country to country. For information about the customs policies that apply in your country, please contact your local customs office. Any additional charges for customs clearance, import duties or local taxes are to be borne by the customer. We do not take any responsibility for these charges and have no control over what they may be. We are unable to reimburse any costs incurred in relation to these matters and do not accept any responsibility for delays as a result, regardless of the circumstances.
Returns policy
Contact us within 30 days if your order is faulty or incorrect. We want your satisfaction and recommendation.
Returns must be authorized with our office before sending to the warehouse. Contact us through our Contact Us page and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
You may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, excluding shipping. We pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). Returns will be charged a US$6.50 warehouse handling fee, except where the return is our error.
We are unable to refund used or damaged items, or items that have been removed from their original packaging and are simply the wrong size or wrong colour, or items not returned in their original packaging in a manner suitable for resale. If the item is returned damaged or unsuitable for resale, we will not issue a refund. The condition of the returned item is determined by independent warehouse staff and is not open to dispute. To get a full refund, return the item in the manner you received it.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; in many cases you will receive it much more quickly. This period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 business days).
If you need to return an item, contact us. Let us know when the item is dispatched, and we will email you once we have received and processed the return and issued your refund.
Items shipped for free
We subsidize the shipping costs of these items and ship them for free. Should you need to return an item, it is at your expense, and any refund will be reduced by the shipping fees we were charged to get the item to you. This amount varies by product and delivery destination.
Unclaimed parcels
We refund your money on returned unclaimed parcels, less the costs we have incurred.
