Will a Bed Canopy fit on my Four Poster Bed?

When choosing your canopy curtains we suggest that you measure the top frame of your poster bed and then select the size you need. If there is not an exact match then select the next size up as excess fabric can be gathered into the corners. It can be attached in a variety of ways depending upon the type of four poster bed you have. Instructions are provided with the canopy, or contact us for more detailed information.

Do I have to use a frame?

No. The unique patented design of our box canopies is so versatile that you do not have to use a frame, you can simply suspend your canopy by attaching cords to ceiling hooks. We have found that the use of a frame whether it is bamboo, steel or timber adds to the presentation and visual impact of your display.

Is bamboo heavy?

No. A set of cured bamboo poles weighs only 4 Kilo's /8.8 pounds and if green will weigh only 17.6 pounds.

Do CanopyBedCurtains supply bamboo frames?

No.We recommend US customers to purchase 4 bamboo poles from http://www.beautifulbamboo.com/poles.php Other International customers will need to source poles domestically. If you find a supplier you would like to recommend please contact us!

What dimension poles do I need for a timber or bamboo frame?

Single: 2 @ 4ft 7in and 2 @ 7ft 7in.

Double: 2 @ 5ft 2in and 2 @ 7ft 7in.

Queen: 2 @ 6ft 7in and 2 @ 7ft 11in.

King: 2 @ 7ft 7in and 2 @ 7ft 11in.

These dimensions allow the poles to overlap and "cross" in an attractive manner. We have found that using a diametre that ranges from 1 to 3 inches or 3 to 5cm to be the best. Overlap the poles and tie together with cord, line,leather or rope

What is the hidden frame?

A CanopyBedCurtain innovation is the provision of a sleeve on the ceiling of each box canopy. The sleeve allows the use of 3/4 inch curtain rod which together with 4 corner brackets create a frame that is hidden in the canopy ceiling.Curtain rod corner brackets are supplied at curtain hardware outlets.

Is the hidden frame heavy?

No. It weighs 2 kilograms / 4 pounds.

Where can I get a curtain rod frame?

You can make a frame by using curtain rod, available at most curtain product outlets, and cutting it to the following dimensions:

Single: 2 @ 81.1in and 2 @ 41.7in

Double 2 @ 81.1in and 2 @ 56.7in

Queen: 2 @ 83.5in and 2 @ 64.6in.

King: 2 @ 86.6in and 2 @ 74.8in

You will need 4 corner brackets or adjustable elbows which are also available at curtain hardware outlets.

Do we supply hooks?

No. They can be purchased from local hardware stores to suit individual needs and requirements. Please consult a qualified tradesman if necessary. Conventional cup hooks may be used on timber ceilings and we recommend spring toggle hooks on plaster ceilings.

Do the bed canopies come with instructions?

Do cotton canopies come in different colors? 

No. We supply natural white only. The cotton canopies dye easily and the simplest and most effective dying product we have found is a product called Washing Machine Dye. http://www.ritdye.com/dyeing-techniques/washing-machine

What are the cotton canopy drapes made of?

100% pre-washed cotton netting with a run-proof weave. The unique weave displays as slightly checkered

Do the bed canopies offer insect protection?

Yes. Our range of bed canopies offer fantastic world class insect protection.

How do I clean my cotton canopy?

Machine wash on delicate cycle using cold water and a mild detergent OR hand wash in cold water using a mild detergent OR dry clean. Do Not Tumble Dry. Do not spin dry. After washing there may be some slight reduction in height. This is due to the netting contracting and can be overcome by pulling the netting drapes while damp.

Do the cotton canopy drapes come without the chequered pattern?

No. The chequered pattern of our netting is due to the run-proof weave and a feature of the quality manufacturing process. 

Do CanopyBedCurtain canopies come with a warranty?

Yes. All products carry a one year limited warranty.

Silk Bed Curtain

How do I care for Silk?

Silk fibres are very durable, stronger than other natural fibres. Silk will lose strength temporarily when it becomes wet and for this reason care is required. We recommend you dry clean your silk canopy using(P 30) Keep silk out of direct sunlight to avoid discoloration as silk reacts and darkens when in direct sunlight. Do not bleach. Cool iron using silk setting. With proper care silk will retain its elegant looks for years.

Do Temple Bed Canopies come in different fabrics?

Yes. Cotton or polyester.

What size bed does your Temple bed canopy fit?

It is the most versatile of designs and will fit over from Single to King beds as well as Daybeds

Does the Temple come with a frame?

Yes. The Temple is supplied with a folding modular PVC frame that slides into a sleeve on the ceiling of the canopy.

We try our best to get all products to you as fast as possible and use third party shippers for delivery. If delivery details are incorrect or delivery email address is incorrect or blocked by clients spam  filters or unable to be delivered due to reasons beyond standard delivery expectations or delivery details are changed once an order has been processed and is with a third party carrier we are not responsible for non-delivery and any return delivery charges will be deducted from any refund.

Many postal/delivery services hold uncollected items for 7 days before returning to sender. We are not responsible for unclaimed items. We are not liable for return postage costs of unclaimed items. Return costs are at the buyers expense.

CUSTOMS DUTY AND SALES TAX

Any Customs charges or sales taxes upon entry to you country are excluded from our prices. Should you be charged customs/sales tax they are at your expense.

Returns Policy

Contact us within 30 days if your order is faulty or incorrect.

We want your satisfaction and recommendation.

You may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, excluding shipping. We pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). Returns will be charged a US$6.50 warehouse handling fee.

We are unable to refund used or damaged items, items that have been removed from their original packaging and are simply the wrong size, wrong colour or items not returned in their original packaging in a manner suitable for resale. If the item is returned in a damaged or unsuitable for resale manner we will not issue a refund. The condition of the Returned Item is determined by independent warehouse staff and not open to dispute. To get a full refund return the item in the manner you received it.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund much more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 business days).

If you need to return an item contact us by email or telephone. Let us know when the item is dispatched and you will be notified by e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. 

Items shipped for free

We subsidize the shipping costs of these items and ship for free. Should you need to return an item it is at your expense and any refund to you will be reduced by the shipping fees we were charged to get the item to you. This amount will vary depending upon product and delivery destination.
